I love to teach. It’s something I’ve always done, especially beginners and children. Right now I do not have any classes scheduled but that can change at any time, so check back with me. If you have a class you would like me to teach, if you’re eager to learn and especially if you have some friends that want to learn as well, then please let me know and we can make it happen!
Design your own sewing class! Gather your friends for a fun day of quilting!
I love seeing people get excited to do something new, be inspired to create something that they have always imagined, and beam with pride and satisfaction in themselves when they are done. Consequently I love teaching. I tried public school for a while, but somehow that took all the fun out of it. I’ve always wanted to teach something that encourages people to think outside of their box and I think I’ve found it!
With my classes I like to design projects with the focus on completion and success! When working with kids and beginners I think it’s important to encourage creative projects and give them something they can complete successfully!

I’m in the process of designing class options. I will post them here as they are created. If you are looking at this because you’re interested please contact me and we can talk about options that you might not see here too. I am designing projects that can be finished within a short amount of time and with great success. Some of them can even be altered with your personal creative flair!
I can either come to your location and teach one of these projects to a small group of you and your friends, or you (and one or two of your friends) can come here to my shop and quilt with me. All levels of experience welcome! Details about each project are provided. Most projects will require you to purchase your choice of fabrics at the store ahead of time. I’m happy to consult with you about that and I can supply you with a list of materials ahead of time. The price listed includes everything, instruction and use of resources.
By joining our facebook page, you can keep in touch with your classmates and share pictures of what you created in class.
